Aidy Boothroyd’s England Under-21 squad has been selected for UEFA EURO 2019, but, with Gareth Southgate’s senior squad so youthful these days, Football365’s Sarah Winterburn has selected an Under-21 side of England players regardless of which squad they’re in. It’s not bad, you know.
With 18,000 England fans expected to fly to Portugal next week for the UEFA Nations League finals, the FA has addressed head on its concerns about the behaviour of a section of the national team’s support. Gaining their buy-in as part of Team England is seen as key.
