Here’s all of this week’s essential reading for England supporters.

We begin with a couple of previews of England’s UEFA Nations League campaign which, by Friday, are academic now anyway. But Jack Pitt-Brooke and Daniel Storey know what they’re doing.

Melissa Reddy spoke to Trent Alexander-Arnold for ESPN before Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League final win against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend. The result is a fascinating insight into the England right back’s development, both past and present, and how he wants to change the lot of the full back.

Alexander-Arnold’s club captain, Jordan Henderson, has also been in the spotlight. In the aftermath of Liverpool’s win his hard work and determination have been praised by Mark Critchley; Gareth Southgate agrees.

Southgate’s right-hand man, Steve Holland, has been speaking about how the standard of coaching in the Premier League is forcing the England first team management to work hard in order to keep their players stimulated on England duty. Dominic Fifield’s write-up contains some insightful nuggets.

England left back Ben Chilwell has embraced one hell of a learning curve since moving into the senior side, and it’s his determination and dedication that have allowed him to handle it. Samuel Lovett has the lowdown for The Independent.

On the other flank we’re expecting an England debut at some point next season for Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka. Tifo Football has a tactical overview of his abilities.

Last and least, sponsorship. The 28 England teams have a new lead partner, BT, who will pay £50m for the privilege.
